Review: a closer look at the Gerber LMF II Knife

We had to delay posting this review until after Christmas. My youngest son has been wanting this knife for a long time and it was purchased as a gift for him. He reads the blog and to keep from spoiling his surprise we waited to post this review. Nevertheless, we couldn’t resist the chance to open the package and write our initial impression of the knife.

This knife has hundreds of online written reviews so we thought it may be nice to put up a few photos that detail some of the things that the retail websites don’t show. I’ve always liked Gerber’s products, and I’ve secretly been wanting this knife also (in foliage green). This one is nice! The photos should do most of the talking. Hopefully we can do a review next year after a chance to put this knife to use.

The 12C27 stainless blade is 4.8″ long with a thickness of .188″.  Overall length

is 10.6″.  The sheath is MOLLE compatible and has a built-in sharpener. Made in the USA.
